Introduction

About Me!

On my journey to becoming a physician, I care deeply about growing personally and professionally. I want to be an effective communicator, someone who is dedicated, and someone who continues to learn. Medicine isn’t just about how much you know its also about the ability to adapt and improve every single day.

Each year, I choose a word to guide my growth. This year, it’s thrive, but a couple of years ago, it was improvement. What I’ve learned since then is that improvement never really ends. We are always learning. As future physicians, it’s our responsibility to keep learning, changing, and becoming better not only for ourselves but also for our patients and our communities.

The pillars we have worked on in class, presence, chronemics, preparedness, communication, and interpersonal functioning aren’t just skills they are habits that have helped me stay organized, communicate more effectively, and build real connections with others. I have used tools like Google Calendar, Notion, a physical planner, and email etiquette strategies to help me grow in these areas. Each tool has helped me a lot.

I know that every step I take will bring me closer to the kind of doctor I hope to be; thoughtful, prepared, and always growing.
